1 cup milk
3 tbsp custard powder
3 tbsp sugar
Green Mousse Layer:
1 cup whipped cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp green food coloring

Bake the Red Velvet Cake:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, oil, sugar, egg, vanilla, and red food coloring. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth. Pour into a greased 8x8-inch pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool completely.
Prepare the Custard Layer:
Heat milk in a saucepan. Mix custard powder and sugar with 2 tbsp of milk to form a slurry. Stir into the hot milk and cook until thickened. Let it cool slightly, then spread evenly over the cooled cake.
Make the Green Mousse Layer:
Whip the cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in green food coloring. Spread the mousse evenly over the custard layer.
Decorate:
Top with whipped cream, festive holiday sprinkles, and a light dusting of powdered sugar.
Chill & Serve:
